Solo's at North Weald next year

I heard yesterday that North Weald is not available for any solo's next year, apparently they need to have more quiet days, so have decided not to have any solo's.

I don't know if this is true or not, it would be a big shame if it is the case.

Anybody else heard anything along these lines?

It's possible Jim, but we don't have anything set in stone yet.

What about Redhill Aerodrome I think there is some large areas of concrete there , certainly they do bike training there, might be worth a look Andy ?

Maybe not for Auto solo but superb perimeter road for a sprint !

Redhill certainly does have an entertaining perimeter track, but unless all aircraft were grounded on the day of an event then there's no way you could run cars there.
Looking at Google Earth it would appear that there are aircraft related businesses all around the perimeter so I very much doubt there would be any value in taking a closer look, unless anyone knows the place in detail?
