Bonjour Matt, yes I got it mapped at Brands, Emerald had sent us a Zetec map hence why it was running like a dog ! Ended up putting out about 140bhp, but I noticed at the Palace this weekend that the acceleration felt a bit flat, no low down torque.

Spoke to an alfa specialist who walked up to look at the car and he said he had seen this before and that hooking up the VVT switch to a power feed should improve things , other wise car went well, but I do need to refresh the rear suspension as its gone very soggy now not good over speed bumps !

Just bumping this up. Its happening this sunday at Bo Peep Lane just outside Selmeston on the A27 near Eastbourne.

Free parking and entry to the event just make a charitable donation, all historic cars and I will be running the Alfa up the hill. Possibility of a passenger ride if your nice to me and make a donation to the charity !! I will have a spare helmet with me and the passenger seat has just had four point belts fitted.

Get there around 9am ish.

Great event, nice hill although as with all hills needs lots of power. alfa ran well, bit like the Mille Miglia with the crowds sitting on the hillside as you went past.

We even had an exclusive drivers lounge with some very nice catering, maybe something to consider for CP next year ?

Not timed or competative but good mix of machinary and most were trying hard.

That guy with the MGB was next to me in the paddock. What the video doesnt really show is how step the hill is, basically 2nd gear thrashing it all the way !

Also doesnt show you the crowds lined up either side of the start line which was a bit hairy as they allowed us to tyre warm!
