10 budding Lewis Hamiltons converged on a six lane wide racing venue in Gillingham to wrestle the championship title away from Graham Pryme who had for the past 12 months been honing his digit / eye coordination trying to tune in his BMW radio.
Sadly it was all to no avail as newcomer Colin Sparks dominated proceedings from the word go (despite grahams attempts to connect his car to the mains in a quest for more power) to claim overall victory.
As always Chequered Flag Racing provided a full evening's entertainment and hosted a really enjoyable fun event including a buffet during the interval.
8 SDMC members turned out for this event and had an enjoyable evening and by all accounts some did more sweeping in one night than they have done all year!!
Well done to the victors Andy Elcomb Joy Waiton and Lee Champion and his daughter Ella.
