As you can see from the calendar printed elsewhere in this month’s magazine, it is the start of the 12 Car and Scatter season and we also have a few PCTs for good measure.

The Scatters start on 27th October with a Maidstone event organised by Tom Solomon and our first event is on the 23rd November, organised by Colin Billings, start venue to be finalised. As the Ed has mentioned in her editorial please come along and support these events.

Our first 12 Car Rally is on 11th November, with Chin as organiser, again start venue to be confirmed. Before that, on Sunday 30th October Croydon & DMC are holding a PCT at Further Fields Farm, nr Leeds Castle. Contact John Lloyd 01883 653288 or lloydridge@aol.com for an entry, sooner rather than later to avoid cancellation. Croydon had to unfortunately cancel their Autotest back at the beginning of September due to lack of confirmed entries after the closing date. Please try to commit an early entry to any of these events in here or on our calendar. It helps the organisers enormously.

We are also running a PCT on 27th November at Chapman’s Hill, Meopham MR 633636 (where B19 usually hold their events). Regs are available from Clive Cooke on 01732 353814 or email clive.v.cooke@virgin.net. They can also be downloaded from the Regs section of our club website.

These are also your last chances to get your Speed League Marshalling qualification.

The events listed above are all club events, these do not need a competition licence and are designed to be fun, So even if you have not competed on any of these types of events before, then why not come along and have some fun, There is always someone to give you a hand or offer to navigate for you.

The Tempest Rally is on the 5th November and Chin and I are going down to man a passage control so if you want to give us a hand then please give Chin a call 01732 823132.
