For our next event, we will be contesting the Pirelli National Rally this 14^th May in the Peugeot 205 Scholarship car. There will be an added incentive for this event as the Ford World Rally Team boss, Malcolm Wilson is offering a £2000 cash prize to any Peugeot that can beat his fastest Fiesta ST rally car through the Cumbrian British Rally Championship stages. In addition to this, the Peugeot Scholarship organiser Kevin Furber, has offered £1000 of his own cash to any of his Scholars that can achieve the mammoth task. That is a total of £3000 now up for grabs!!!

With the new Fiesta being 15 years more advanced than the little Peugeot, the task appears virtually impossible, but I am going to have a go anyway. It could be our last rally, but if we can win this prize money, we could keep going for most of the season. At least I can say I gave it my all and am going to try as hard as I can so watch this space.
