Well first the good news North weald has been given the go ahead for this year and our first event is on 2nd April and regs will be available shortly, but before that we have the Rally of Kent on 12th March and we need your help on the Sevenoaks stages at Hemsted Forest near Cranbrook, and this will be your second chance to get that important speed league marshal qualification and don’t forget that this year you can claim the 7 points for marshalling any Sevenoaks Nat B event.

If you need to test your car then Borough 19 is running a shakedown sprint on 5th March at Oakington regs from Neil Benfield or on the Borough 19 website.

Our last 12 Car of this Season is on 10th March more details and offers to help out from Chin, lots of fun on a Friday evening. And the final 12 Car of this season is being organised by Census Motor Club on 14th April details to follow.

At the time of writing, there are also 3 PCTs planned, the first of these was to have been the Sevenoaks one organised by Clive Cooke on March 26th. However we have no venue at the moment although the organising team is set to go. Chapman’s Farm and Nurstead are unavailable and another venue Clive was investigating has refused use for PCTs at present. So we are unsure whether it will go ahead, although a couple of other avenues are being explored as I type. It could be a quick email shot and information and regs will appear on the web, so watch this space, as they say.

The next PCT after ours is on 9th April organised by Maidstone and you can call Dennis Usmar on 01622 764430 for an entry. The third event is at Chapman’s Hill near Meopham on 23rd April run by Borough 19, Jane Anthony is the organiser and her details can be found in the Comp Calendar.

Our autotests start on 11th May, so make sure that your Thursday evening are free and start to think up those excuses on why you need to borrow your wife’s car on a Thursday evening (Oi!–Watch it! The Ed). These are great events for beginners and if we get enough interest we can run a production class for the over 14s but we need to know in advance so we can organise the correct permits.

So there is a lot to keep you busy and do not forget our club nights at our new venue the Chequers in Heaverham.

Happy Competing!
