Trophy Twaddle
Another season is well under way, the awards from last year have been dished out, and what a fun evening that was, and the first three events in our calendar have all taken place with a good level of support. I say a good level although the entry for the Kent was disappointing; 21 starters seems low but it was 2 more than last year’s Powerush and that was a superb event. Maybe it’s the impression that others get of Kent with it’s large population of whingers (see Sevenoaks Chronicle – or rather, don’t see Sevenoaks Chronicle – let’s boycott it after they published an inaccurate article based mostly on what one local in Plaxtol told them and a selection of misquotes from me (as if I’d ever call a road event a ‘race’!). Anyway it all turned out OK on the night and my thanks to all who helped. The manpower required to run this type of event is reflected in the Trog Trophy points as follows below.

Keep up the efforts for the year and make sure that I get
a set of results for each event you do as soon as possible afterwards with
details of the event (Organisers, status, full entry list etc.) so that I can
keep up to date with the sums.
Thanks
