The new PR Officer's list of roads in Acorn last month includes the one north from Castle Cary that I used to use to explore the handling of the appalling hire cars I often had to drive to  meetings in Bath. The A37 just to the west allowed similar experimentation with top speed on the way back..... Inspired to consider an own "top10", I came across www.gunsmoke.com/scot/great_roads.html ,which although bike-orientated includes a couple on my list....
