Letters to the Editor
Hi Dawn,
As a new member I read the Acorn with interest, and spend more time
than I should perusing the web for motorsport stuff.
ATLASF1 is a good site for F1 anoraks, but seems to now want you to
login. Whether this means there's a charge I don't know.
Games-wise; I bought a computer basically to do one thing - play Grand
Prix 3. It's the only game I've got, apart from it's forerunner GP2, which
belies my single seater circuit racing background... It's an absolute must,
very realistic, very technical, and very rewarding, even using a keyboard
(Lynn objected when I borrowed a steering wheel!).
When you start getting into front damper fast rebound settings, and
worse, noticing a difference, you know you're sad!
I bet we'll discover most members have got it...!
Regards
Jon Harmer
Hi Dawn,
You asked for details of interesting web sites. www.aswmc.org.uk ,via
hillclimb or sprint links, includes latest vehicle regulations that apply
to such events as the Marketing Machine round at Wiscombe.
www.woolbridge.co.uk includes a link to a Wiscombe Park page, giving
details of other hillclimbs there.
Regards
Keith Lay
Thanks Keith and Jon, I am sure that other members will find your suggestions
of interest - Dawn
