Competition Secretary

 

One of the most important committee posts that needs to be filled.

Chris Scudder has done a sterling job for the past three years but wants to hand over the reigns to an enthusiastic club member Can you do it?

To prepare the competition calendar and communicate this to the MSA, Regional Associations, Acorn and Website editors.

To book external officials for all events (in practise this has only been done for speed events; the secretary of the meeting has done this for rallies – we could play this either way – it may be more logical to combine them as we use the same paramedics, timekeepers and some other officials)

To assign the senior club officials for each event.

See? Not too onerous and there are plenty of experienced people on hand to guide and support you along the way. Please, please think carefully before disregarding yourself as a volunteer.

Summer Grass Autotest Series 2006

Events will be on the following Thursdays: July 20 & Sunday July 30.

Tests will take place at COLDHARBOUR FARM

FARNINGHAM 177/540670,

with signing-on, place from 18.00 hrs. Last sign-on accepted 19.30 hrs. (Jul 30th – 10am. & 11.30 hrs. respectively)

Marshals’ Tabards

Armistice—Can you help?

Have you got one of the club’s yellow marshalling tabards?

 

The numbers of club tabards has gone down dramatically in the last two years. As they cost approx £10 each, we would like to be able to collect as many back as soon as possible, or at least trace their whereabouts.

Please have a root around your car boot or garage, under stairs cupboard or coat rack and if you find one, you can return it at any club night or event to a committee member.

If you regularly marshal on club events just drop Chris Scudder an email to let him know you have one. Thank you for helping to save the club some money.
