Another Thursday Autotest, another glorious evening – I’m hoping the weather will hold out for the next four but I’m not holding my breath!

Well, this week was the third of the Evening Autotest series and we had 26 competitors and 7 lovely marshals. A few new people turned up – more names to remember – not that I’m complaining! And once again a good time was had by all. (Even with the reversing!)

Class A was won by MICK ROSE with Maidstone’s RICHARD OLSEN taking second place.

FTD was taken by DAREN HALL.

NICK MAXWELL renewed his membership just in time to come first place in Class B, with CHRIS PENFOLD and Maidstone’s BRIAN SHARPE fighting for second place with just 0.1 of a second between them!

Class D was won by B19’s PETER DUNN with Black Palfrey’s LEE BUSBRIDGE in second.

CHRIS WISE came first in Class E with a two-second lead over Chelmsford’s SHANE KEILTHY.

Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who turned up and especially Clive Cooke and Chin for their advice and the marshals who are very much appreciated.

Three down, four to go. Battle continues June 22, July 6, July 20 and July 30.

The fourth of the Evening Autotest series and the rain held off again. A little drizzle before the event helped to stop our poor marshals choking all evening!!

This week we had 21 competitors and 6 dusty marshals. A couple of new faces as well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Class A was won by Chelmsford’s JIM BOWIE with DAREN HALL taking second place.

CHRIS PENFOLD took first place in Class B with Maidstone’s BRIAN SHARPE just over half a second behind him in second place.

A change at the top saw NICK MAXWELL taking FTD.

CHRIS WISE came first in Class E with quite a commanding lead over his two class mates.

Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who turned up and especially the marshals who are very much appreciated and most likely had to have a few showers to get rid of the dust!
