WEB SITE UPDATE

For those cyber-nuts out there here are some facts and figures from the Webmaster.
Usage is still growing with 27 visitors a day in April rising to 36 in May and 39 in June.
Web traffic is also increasing, up to 92MB this month (from 67MB last month).  A good chunk of this was due to Colin Shipway's North Weald photos.  As soon as they were on the site there was a burst in downloads to 8MB a day for a few days.
There are 15 people registered on the discussion forum.
The North Weald results for our June event were downloaded 44 times.
The June Acorn was read by about 20 people. This is also up on last month.
The most popular sections of the site are the Marketing Machine page, the results, the photos and the regulations.
I get a steady stream of emails via the website including this extract from a non-member:

'Hi Ian.
I wish we had similar comments for some of the other championships; it's good to see details of an event, and a quickly updated championship table. Heaven only knows what is happening in terms of points in the AEMC, LCAMC and ASEMC.
Tim Stevens
(not doing the Marketing Machine. but probably next year....need to find a suitable class for the Exige in the meantime though).'

Regards

Ian Crocker, Webmaster
