Rally Championships Round Up

Here are the final points standings for the 2005 Stage Rally Championships, with this year seeing the highest number of 7Oaks crews competing for a number of seasons.

Not only have we had a healthy club championship, but our members have been to the fore in the main championships contested, with Colin Billings/ Andy Kilby winning their class in the National Tarmac Championship. Vince/Matt Wheeler and Nigel Mummery 2nd in their respective Bigger Bites Rally 2005 classes. This championship also saw Jason Mortlock/Bill Smith finish 3rd 1600 car and gain a pot as the overall champion is from their class. Dick Athow beat Iain Gibson to 4th in class by 2 points.

A typo crept into last month’s report (Sorry—The Ed) with the events at Longmoor and Goodwood both counting for 7oaks points, but not being rounds of any other championships.
