Rally Rattlings

A new year starts and I hope we get a proper season of rallying this year. The Rally Championship for 2002 is detailed below and I hope the balance between the two disciplines is re-established. Rather more immediate activities include the Kent Rally which is ‘orribly close, and the January 12-car and Scatter.
To get things into some sort of chronological order I’d better start with the 2001 Rally Championship. Despite the lack of road events we decided that the championship should continue for last year and the results are:

Congratulations to the winners, I’m sorry, Tom, but Andy E scored on the Bullnose with me – so it was worth doing road events!! It’s also good to see so many point scorers and this has been reflected by our representation on individual events, on road events we’ve provided amongst the highest number of entries even on the fully subscribed events at the end of the year, on stage events we had a similar representation bettered only by the specialist clubs. Well done everyone. I’ll list this year’s events next month – when I’ve found the dates.
