Sevenoaks & District Motor Club Rally Championship 2001 The above club will run, during 2001, a championship based on the following events to which our members are invited either directly or by our membership of appropriate Regional Associations. Events: |

Points will be awarded automatically, no registration being necessary, although the Rally Secretary would welcome some details of each event and any member who competes on any round is required to send him a copy of the entry list and results. Points will be allocated as follows: Based on the relative position of our members' overall finishing place the highest will be awarded 30 points, the second 27 points, the third 24 points and so on reducing by 3 points with each place lower in the results. In addition any member winning his/her class will receive 3 bonus points, a second in class 2 bonus points and a third in class 1 bonus point. Any member who starts but is not classified as a finisher will receive 3 points. It is a requirement that, to score any points the competitor must have marshaled or officiated on two events, one of which must be at Nat B level, organised by SDMC. The overall winning driver will receive the John Gott Trophy and replica, and the overall winning Navigator/Co-Driver will receive the Jack Kemsley Trophy and replica. N.B. These rules have yet to be ratified by your committee and this or any changes will be notified in the next Acorn. CHIN |
