“Rumour Has It……………..”

….that following the precedent set by the Sprint Leaders Championship in disguising the name of its final venue, Lydden Hill is to be re-named Brands Hatch 2 in an attempt to confuse Ron Dennis about its continued use for club motorsport.

….that Motorsport News’ “Do you remember” column didn’t remember all that well when it recently featured a 7Oaks Vice President – and recalled him moving from Ford to Porsche some 2 years before he did.

….that according to the Blue Book, 4 miles at Wethersfield equals 2 kilometres (but some sprint wimps think that’s a misprint for 20).

….that with Bentwaters joining Wethersfield as a listed sprint venue, Woodbridge only remains under military control because the Rendlesham Forest UFO is….STILL THERE!

….that Micky and Ted have been abducted by aliens.

….that Barnesfield Heath is pitching for the 2003 Sprint Leaders final on the grounds that its varied motorsport activities have already called it Avon Park, Forrest Edge, Matchams, Ringwood,Hurn, Christchurch and St Ives, but not its real geographical name of Foxbury Hill.

….that we could return to Crystal Palace if it was re-named North Weald 2.

….that when the British Rally Championship is mentioned to event organisers they move their wallets to an inside pocket.

Anon.
