Off the Beaten Track

A local member of the M.C.C. (Motor Cycle Club - the chaps who have been running the really serious Lands End, Exeter style Trials for cars and bikes since 1901) is building up a history of the Trials Hills located along the South Coast used pre-WWII.  In particular he would like to have map references and/or route card information for the following Hills which are thought to lie somewhere between Canterbury and Folkestone:
Stowting, Palmstead, Dane, Shrubbs Hill, Buckwells Bank. Postmans Walk, Limeworks and Whatsole Street.  Surrey Hills for which information also sought are:  Absters Hollow, Unterkirkeim and Steep.
If anyone has any first hand or, apart from Chin perhaps, more likely second or third hand information     or material, event reports, old photos etc please in the first instance contact me and I will forward them on.
Please do give this request some thought, as it is a two way street.  I have been sent copies of route cards for the C&G.M.C  Kent Trials Dec 1932 and March 1937, which will be sent along to Mark Dawson just in case they indicate some venues that might be reusable today.
