All I Want for Christmas is an Action Man Ferrari Test Drive Written By Ryan Travers age 5¾
or Christmas I got an Action Man Ferrari Grand Prix car and an Action Man dressed like Michael Schumacher. It has lots of neat stickers which Daddy helped me to put on and then Daddy put in some batteries. When you press a button at the back it makes really cool engine noises like it is revving up and when you push it along it sounds like the cars on the racing on TV when they are going round on the track. When you stop pushing it, it makes stalling engine noises too. Mummy gets cross when she is on the phone and I push the car round the downstairs bit of the house. She says she will take out the batteries!!! Our rabbit gets out of the way when she sees it coming. (Probably doesn't want to be skewered on the nose cone--Ed!) The car has also got a heat seeking missile launcher, which fires a bright green missile out above Action Man's head. Daddy says that Michael Schumacher would like to have this on his real Ferrari so that he can blow up the back markers. The Missile flies about 1.5 metres (that's a little under 5 feet for those of you who don't understand this new fangled decimal stuff! - Ed). It has a secret hiding place for the missiles. I'm not going to tell you where it is because it is a secret!!! The Action Man has smart red overalls (no fireproof undies though! - Ed) and a shiny black crash helmet and he has a white mask under it (He means a balaclava--Ed). I don't know what else I can tell you about it except it is brilliant. From Ryan Travers
(Note from the Ed: Just had a flick through a recent copy of Autosport and noticed that there is now a Ferrari Barbie Doll, complete with Ferrari Winner's cap and Crash Helmet and at £39.99- no, we won't be completing the set! Although I suppose she would be good for parading up and down the pit lane before Action Man blows up Mika Hakkinen with his missiles!!)
