Secretary
One of the most
important committee posts that needs to be filled.
Chris Scudder has
done a sterling job for the past three years but wants to hand
over the reigns to an enthusiastic club member Can you do it?
To prepare the competition
calendar and communicate this to the MSA, Regional Associations,
Acorn and Website editors.
To book external officials for
all events (in practise this has only been done for speed
events; the secretary of the meeting has done this for rallies
– we could play this either way – it may be more logical to
combine them as we use the same paramedics, timekeepers and some
other officials)
To assign the senior club
officials for each event.
See? Not too
onerous and there are plenty of experienced people on hand to
guide and support you along the way. Please, please think
carefully before disregarding yourself as a volunteer.
