A new year has well and truly started. We’ve had two 12 cars, the Kent Rally, a PCT and the Rally of Kent, together with our involvement with the Sunseeker and several other events. We’ve also had our annual wards bash which was a good night out.

So now it’s time to keep you all up to date with the various points tables.

There have been 63 points scorers so far in the Chalky White table, which, for those who are new to this game, is for marshalling on our events. So I hope that includes all those who need qualification points for our Speed League and other club championships. If you haven’t yet qualified don’t fret there’ll be plenty of opportunities to get the necessary points; we’ve the Evening Autotests coming up soon and there’s North Weald very soon from the time of writing this drivel so I guess that some more of you will have scored by now.

The Rose and Crown series has started of course and it’s good to see some new names at the top, although the fourth spot is held by a previous regular at the top.

As for the Trog Trophy, which is for organising our events, this is looking a bit too familiar – but it WILL change, wait till next month when the North Weald points are added.

Well that’s it for now, please send me the results and entry list for any event you do as soon as possible, I’d like to keep more on top of the calculations this year so that I can keep these reports coming and generate a bit of healthy (or otherwise!) competition amongst you all.
