There was no February mug awarded this time but some nominations were made for March. Daren Hall was put forward for his outright win at our PCT and Dawn and Ralph Travers were put forward for their efforts in the Rally of Kent in getting the results service up and running late on the Saturday night against the odds. The committee decided to award one to all of the worthy nominees. (For which we thank you kindly….The Ed and Mr Ed!)

There have been more nominations for the Battured Cup (this is turning out to be a hotly fought contest and so early in the year too!) Sam Collins managed to put his Vee into the armco backwards on its first outing this year and spread bits of the car all over the place. Then there is Neil Armstrong who on his first Brit Car race of the season, managed to crash his car in the same place at Silverstone and doing the same damage as the crash he had during his last race of the season in 2004. Neil is nothing if not consistent!

If you know of anyone who has put in a noteworthy performance let one of the committee know and we will put is forward for a monthly mug. Like wise with any other of the club’s prestigious awards, we want to hear about it.

A reminder also to get your results in to me for the annual awards trophies. Ideally a copy of the official results from the event would be good.
